All my pieces are hand painted, so each one is unique. I try to compress the essence of a plant or a landscape on all my vases. The only point of uniformity in my pieces are my shapes which are slip cast. The mould is cast from a model which is the solid shape of the vase.
These cone vases are among my oldest shapes and they were made to look like sheets of paper which have been twisted around to form counter balanced ovals.
The designs for the tall cones fall into 3 categories, Abstract leaves, Forest, and Flowers.
